This is Toby; he is a German Shepherd cross who was brought to the Bath Cats & Dogs Home in June 2004, by an RSPCA Inspector, very emaciated and in extremely poor condition.
Toby is a one and a half-year-old black and tan castrated male dog. He is a very friendly affectionate lad with a wonderful temperament. He loves going for walks, is very good off lead and returns immediately when called even if he is bounding around the field. He is a very playful, gentle and sociable creature. He is very clean in his kennel, well behaved and settles quickly when required. He is a laid-back chap that is very loving and tactile and will shake a paw. He has been under the vets supervision since arriving here, having twice weekly baths to improve his skin condition. He is good with other dogs – perhaps needs a few manners! possibly good with cats - would definitely be worth a try and probably okay with children under 10.
Can you offer Toby a new loving home where he can get all the love and attention that he deserves?
